About This Episode

Its all over, or is it?! HA! Loki is obviously ready to unleash hell on earth, but how will the mighty Avengers react? I guess we’ll never know. Unless Dave moves house again I guess!!!

Other News

It’s been great fun having a comic run on the site, I’d like to thank Dave for giving me the chance, and you guys for all the feedback. I will be returning to my lego cave to develop sets and a storyline with the idea of creating a comic of my own one day….

Discussion Question

I’d like to be selfish on this one – what did you think of the Zegoland Mini-series? What would you change? All feedback welcome!

Editor’s Note: Another big thank you to Mark for putting together this amazing run. Don’t forget to check out Mark’s Flickr profile for more awesome stuff.

  1. Shame I didn’t spot the mistake in the first slide before I sent it off to Dave.

Its been a pleasure guys, hope you’ve enjoyed it, shame Dave wasn’t around to comment this week – I sincerely hope his house move and leg recovery are going well!

    • You could always do some more strips up if he doesn’t get anyone else sending content in! 😀

  2. It’s been a pleasure for me to read. Always good to read high quality stuff.

Original story, nice shooting techniques, nice editing… I guess only “the flying bullets” don’t match the rest of the comic.

It’s 5/5 for me. I’ll be looking forward for more from you Mark ! Take your time though and make quality your priority just like you did for this 6 parts strip !

    • Yeah I guess he flying bullets need some work! Loving the rating though

  3. I’d like to critique you… but I can’t;
    – short story, with a twist, humor and action
    – Great layout
    – Amazing photography
    – Semi-open ending…
    – I seriously can’t find anything to do better (and yes I liked the bullets haha)

Ow wait… that first balloon this episode…. shame on you! Sloppy, irresponsible and really an insult to all your readers! Do NOT let that happen again. There you go; a little critique ;P

Hope to see more work of you

    • I know, I’m so annoyed with that mistake on this episode – How dare I force you guys to read outside of the bubble!!!

      • LOL…. when you put it that way, I again have nothing to complain… 🙂

  4. What a story Mark!

This was great, I loved the twist that sets it aside from other stories. The ending means there can be an extension to the story if possible, and I liked the hidden easter eggs. I was almost expecting an invincible Iron Man zombie for a minute there (he hadn’t put his armour on) but it’s this element of speculation that keeps me coming back to this site (besides the community). No story is great with a predictable plotline!

One more question regarding Australia if that’s okay?
Where is the part in Australia with…
    -Moderate rainfall
    -Deciduous forests
-Not a lot of spiders (hate spiders)

    • The short answer to your questions BeefThief is New Zealand! There’s no getting away from the spiders in Australia, but as an Englishman who only moved here 2 years ago, I’d happily say that they are no where near as had as I’d first feared

  5. Great adventure, Mark! The only things I’d change would be: more post-reveal action (two strips just wasn’t enough to see our heroes in work 🙂 ); and more deadpool! (or was wolverine no from the wolverine / deadpool / magneto set?)

thanks for doing this, look forward to your next work 🙂

    • I kind of agree with you hvg3, the problem is you have 6 episodes to get all the story in, and I was keen to split it 50:50 with the normal zombie line and the surprise super hero storyline. If I ever return to this in the future I would start again from scratch and go all out on hero vs zed for episodes on end.

Deadpool was my oversight and I still haven’t forgiven myself for it!

      • Oh, absolutely 🙂 I wasn’t suggesting a change in your split, rather, more comics in general! (that’s a good change-wish, isn’t it?) Instead of 3:3, have 3:6, or 3:10. After all, we’re just the consumers – it doesn’t take us hours to create each one 😉

  6. Nicely Done! Enjoyed reading it

  7. Very fun! Thank you!

  8. Great job Mark, hard to believe it was a first for you because you really nailed it.
