It’s Nice to Have Friends

When LEGO® announced that they were introducing a set of collectible figures that included a zombie, I was quite obviously excited. That excitement ebbed after I started searching for the damn things, and came up empty handed ever time. Luckily fellow comic maker Lich Barrister, of the outstanding strip Ye Olde Lego-time Theatre, was up for the challenge and tracked down five of them for me.

Yesterday afternoon I received a package chock full of flesh-hungry ghouls, and eagerly tore into it. The zombies are even cooler looking in person than I’d seen on the web. I can’t wait to start using them in the comic along with the rest of the horde.

And if you’re in the mood for another well written, funny, and all around fun brick comic, check out Ye Olde Lego-time Theatre (or YOLT if you’re in the mood for brevity). It’s a perfect mix of Shakespeare and Monty Python-style humor.

  1. Love the roll-over text. There are few things finer… than roll-over text, of course – meat like that..

It’s creepy to think that the drumstick is now a minifig arm. Funny, too!

    And cheers for the shout-out!

    • I love little alt text jokes. Even if they’re not funny, they’re still fun.
