Zombie Cliché Lookout:
The thing about zombies is that they don’t really elicit a lot of sympathy and support from people. That means that you’ll be able to find at least some common ground with anyone so long as you also hate the ghouls that are running around, trying to eat everyone. That also means that, every now and then, you might bumble your way into good luck and get saved by people who just like going out and killing zeds. Of course people who like to just go out and kill zeds might not be the best kind of folks to throw in with, so bear that in mind.
Dave i think if you consult a dictionary, you’ll find it’s “elicit”, not “illict”. Illict sounds a lot like the kind of people Sam’s with right now, though! 😀

In the crazies which to me was kinda like a zombie movie people killing the infected for fun were pretty dangerous too and wound up being infected later on
These people seem to know what they’re doing. For one thing, they’re using guns, and since they appear to be off-screen, they could be using a sniper rifle with a long range to pick them off with little fear of zombies finding them.
We’ll be seeing them on Monday. I’m curious how many of you guys think these are the prisoners we saw a while back.

Love the flash back. Just wondering… did you shoot the episodes in chronological order and then edit them into flash backs?
I should have shot them sequentially, but I didn’t have time to. As a result, you’re going to see some zombie bodies move around. Continuity be damned.
You could always put it down to bloated corpse actions. And since they were turned into zeds which then had their heads killed, I’d say the natural forces of nature are just reasserting themselves! 😀
Hah, it’s just that the gases building up in the corpses are making them shift around. That’s all!

It’s an interesting idea, but here’s my problem with a live chat:
On every website I visit that has one, there’s almost never anyone using it, even on popular websites. I think they just make the site look kind of dead, even when there’s a good community of commenters here.
Now if you guys disagree, and think you’d get a lot of use out of a live chat box, let me know and I’ll see if I can find a decent one to try out.

I have just a couple more questions, about the comic this time.
1. Where do you get the heads for zombies (other than that big brickarms weapon pack? I just noticed in panel 3 that the zombie’s head is actually the Neimodian’s head from a LEGO Star Wars set. But what about the others? And where can I get them?
2. What program do you use for editing the photos for this comic (eg. GIMP, Inkscape, paint), how do you make the bloodsplatters, and what do you use to make the speech bubbles?

1. I get the heads from any place I can find. Harry Potter troll heads which I got from BrickLink. The official zombie head from the Collectible minifigs. The zombie pirate heads from Pirates of the Carribean. Frankenstein’s head. That Star Wars head you mentioned. Plus a couple of customs. Citizen Brick sells a nice one, for instance.
2. For editing I use Photoshop. The blood spatters are just brushes with a few effects added to them to create texture. Speech bubbles are pretty simple, just a rounded rectangle with a tail drawn in with the pen tool. Merge the layers together and add a few effects like dropping the opacity a bit, adding a stroke, and a bit of a bevel.
