Zombe Creation: Outbreak at the Butcher’s

There’s a lot of zombie stuff out there, and most of it is crap. People like to jump on bandwagons and produce quick tie-ins rather than investing love and effort into their creations. Luckily for you, Bricks of the Dead is here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Thursday, when we’re going to share the coolest zombie-related creation we can find out there on the web.

The Zombie Creation: This week features one of my favorite type of creations; the type where a reader of the site submits something. This week a reader named Galt built us a magnificent build called “Outbreak at the Butcher Shop.”

Front view of the set. One thing I like about this is how it actually is set up like a traditional LEGO set. It’s just that things have  taken a turn for the worse with zombies!

I always love attention to detail that might be missed on a first glance. Have a look at the guy at the cash register looking out the window.  I can’t recall what those faces are for the zombies. I have seem them before on bricklink and passed on buying them since they didn’t look right. But now seeing them here I erred in judgement.  I think I will buy a dozen my next order. Anyone know what mini-figs they come from?

Side view of the set. Again, I think my favorite part of this set is how Galt set it up just like a true set you buy from the store.
