Zombie Creation of the Week: Pet Shop

Photo of author

There’s a lot of zombie stuff out there, and most of it is crap. People like to jump on bandwagons and produce quick tie-ins rather than investing love and effort into their creations. Luckily for you, I’m here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Friday, when I’m going to share the coolest zombie-related creation I can find out there on the web.

Let me just say this up front and get it out of the way: this week is a total cheat in that it is in no way zombie related. I just saw the video, thought it was kind of awesome, and wanted to post it for everyone to check out.

I’m speaking, of course, of the new official modular set, Pet Shop (#10218). This is the latest in the series of building sets for adults (or just bigger kids, like me). This one breaks the mold a bit in that instead of one big building, you get two slightly smaller buildings so that you can break up the sameness of your street-scape. It’s got lots of cool looking features, which you can check out in the videos:

So there it is. Next week I promise I’ll go back to zombie stuff.

Have you seen a great zombie-related creation out on the web? Are you working on the next great zombie MOC as we speak? Well you had better let us know right away, otherwise we’ll never be able to include it here.

  1. You sure know how to breed crickets, Dave! 😉

    • Man, I guess so. Don’t worry, it’s back to zombie stuff next week, kids!

      • I think it didn’t help any that the non-zombie feature got put under the zombie feature of the week heading. If you’re going to go non-zombie stuff you’ll need to change the header! 😉

        • Yeah, in hindsight I should have just blogged about this separately. Ah well, live and learn.

  2. Damn, I was hoping for zombie pets of some kind…
Well, that’s still cool and all. Maybe after the video finished a horde of Lego zombies found the pet shop and devoured all the critters inside.
    Yea, that sounds good…

    • Now that would be a hell of a creation. Someone who picked up The Pet Shop should totally get on that.
