  1. About whom is the Grim Reaper talking about in Panel 4? Not sure I get that reference.

Also, sorry to sound stupid or insensitive, but a lot of stray animals of all descriptions get run over in Australia, it’s a sad fact of life here. Most trucks and buses probably wouldn’t veer out of the way for a stray animal, or would at the very least not veer that far off course, not on such a straight section of freeway, although we use the term highways here, they’re fairly similar, and the bigger cities have sections resembling American freeway interchanges. 😀

    • Reaper is talking about someone we haven’t seen yet.

You’re right about drivers supposed to hit animals, well let’s say the “cat” has special powers and forced the driver to react in a strange way. 🙂

  2. Very nice frames, I love the sense of movement you managed to capture.

    • I’ll try to improve those effect by using speedlines with Comic Life (software I’m using for editing, speech bubble,…)

  3. About this episode : If I was doing a bonus DVD of The Roaming Bricks, I’ll use this episode to show how hard this was to work on LDD… A “behind the scene” of panel 4 and 9 would probably discourage most of you to work under LDD. 😀

Yet the result has far exceeded my expectations and I have to admit I’m kinda proud of the display… I mean really, LOL. And I don’t think I would have been able to make this happen with real time bricks…

So… Yeah… Using LDD is somewhere between Love & Hate…

    • After the series finale, do you think it might be possible to upload the LDD files? 😀

      • Could be funny LOL. Still possible as I kept all of them… Every LDD file, every shot,… I keep them for a charity auction when I die (If I ever get famous doing brick comics… Jinx). 😀

  4. To be honest…. I think the truck did the old people a favor. But I guess that opinion is up for debate…
I love the look of the bus in the last panel btw!

    • Now what if everything goes as the Reaper planed it?

No good answer here… To be fair I have no idea myself!

  5. About this episode (2) : You might not have seen it but from this episode I started “photoshoping” mouth of characters that are actually talking… I do that by mixing LEGO heads visual, LDD has proven really helpful for this ’cause I don’t need to remove the head from the torso… Making the screenshots “easy” to take and treat.
