Zombie Cliché Lookout:
Whenever a character says “We have to help/do something”, you can bet that they’re going to be too late to really do any good. On the off-chance they are able to help it’s usually only at a terrible cost, which makes us question whether trying to help was worth it? In survival situations what is more important: you own survival, or the survival of your moral compass?
My moral compass is on the top of my Rambo-style survival knife, so if it gets lodged in a zombie I’ll have to go after it.
That’s either a reason to not get involved (paradoxically) or a means to keep me involved; I haven’t decided yet. 😉
It certainly cuts both ways (see what I did there, with the knife angle?), doesn’t it?
Truly, you have a razor-honed wit. Very edgy. 😉
