About This Episode:
I have to say, I’m really unhappy about the lighting in this one. Everything looks a little washed out and discolored.
Zombie Cliché Lookout:
If horror movies have taught us anything it’s this: do not go through the woods (and for heaven’s sake, don’t split up). Of course horror movies haven’t taught the characters in horror films anything, so they’ll happily march off to find their doom in a dark, creepy forest. Unless, of course, those characters are blessed with an innate understanding of their own genre and know all the rules.
And if they innately understand their genre then the villain will likely be just as savvy – and more dangerous!
A genre savvy villain? That would be quite a threat. I’ll have to remember that.
I just read WWZ in one sitting. Dave, if you manage to keep this comic up, it’s going to have a huge following in less than a year.
Isn’t WWZ a great read? I should give it another reread soon.
Thanks for the kind words! I’ve really enjoyed working on the strip so far, and look forward to logging many, many more hours in the future.
the forerst is normaly i bad idea
but in horror film i think the less dencly populated forest would be an exilent choice of route wen Zday finaly arives 🙂
That’s an excellent point. Population density is definitely something to consider when planning your zombie survival strategy.
