About this Episode:
I have to say, I’m quite happy with how the muzzle flash with the shirtless prisoner came out. It almost looks like I know what I’m doing.

Zombie Cliché Lookout:
The police and criminals have – to say the least – an adversarial relationship. In times of crisis, one hopes that people could put down previous conflicts and prejudices and simply help their fellow man. While some people are able to do so, many other aren’t, especially when their fellow man might just get in their way down the road. After all, while crises can bring out the best in people, they also tend to bring out the worst. For every person selflessly helping the less fortunate, there’s another looting supplies and then selling them to the desperate masses.

  1. It’s the “response by primal part of the brain” that leads to such excesses.

And also that the [fill in nemesis name] totally would have gotten me if I’d not gotten [her or him or them] first.

    • Well said, Lich. I know he’s going to start some trouble, so I might as well solve the problem before it becomes a problem. It’s a great way to convince yourself you’re not a violent cretin.

  2. Although if your wrong and you fail to get rid of them they might get rid of you when they wouldnt have actually goten rid of you if you hadnt tried to get rid of them.

    • That’s always the gamble. It makes for some nice tense moments.

I’ll have to remember that for future episodes.

  3. people are stupid

    • They certainly can be, and often are.

      Thanks for the comment!

  4. Hey Dave, have you read The Walking Dead comics?

    • I sure have! It’s a pretty awesome series. I buy the hardback trades,so I’m typically way behind in the arc.

AMC just released a trailer for the show that starts on Halloween. I’ll have to through that in the blog today.

      • Yeah, I spend all my cash on other stuff, so I’m actually reading them from the library. 😛 I just thought that they have a rather refreshing outlook on the Group Survival area of Zombie stories. Most of the time the zombies aren’t even the problem…

And that trailer definitely perked my interest. We’ll see how it turns out.

      • The fact that other people are the major threat has always been my favorite part of the series. It gets a bit soap opera-ish at times, but I dig it nonetheless.
