Luckily for you, I’m here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Thursday, when I’m going to share the coolest zombie-related creation I can find out there on the web.
The Zombie Creation:
This week’s LEGO Zombie creation, “The Walking Dead” by K.Kreations, is another creation based on The Walking Dead, but this is more of a post-apocalyptic creation rather than simply focusing on the characters from the show and comic.
So What’s Going On?
We all know about The Walking Dead, so I’m going to ignore that aspect of the creation to focus on the build itself.
And what a build it is! We get three different buildings, all in various states of disrepair. The amount of detail in this creation is just amazing. From the broken glass to the toppled power lines, this creation looks very lived in. That’s a hard thing to pull off in LEGO®.
And speaking of the broken glass, I love that attention was paid to both the windows themselves, and the glass that tumbles down to the street. That’s a nice extra detail that really makes this creation shine.
Let’s Talk About the Zombies
It’s The Walking Dead, so we know the zombies are of the slow and shambling variety. The characters probably have some stupid name for them, like “geeks” or “walkers”, but I’m just going to keep calling them zombies because that’s how I roll.

The damages to the buildings are perhaps a bit over the top as the result looks more like a war zone rather than just abandoned houses. I just noticed the 7-eleven… nice!

Yeah, the level of destruction is pretty severe. I’d like it more if it wasn’t “The Walking Dead”. Not everything has to be spun off that same property.
I really enjoy this one. Not exactly sure I understand why every single broken window was broken from the inside, because it wasn’t to escape since the whole window isn’t broken out and no bloody glass so it was zombies climbing through. Broken glass nice touch but still very confusing

This one is very good. The environment doesn’t appeal to me as The Walking Dead, but the destruction and detail put in the building makes a great LEGO creation. Applauses for the author.
What I like most in every MOC is the smart building. Using bricks for alternative purpose (look at those droids heads on top of the doorway or the helmet on the fire hydrant).
But the creator of this MOC somehow managed to give the creation a destroyed look very hard to reproduce with (brand new) bricks.
I’d just add that one or two more bullet holes would have made it a 6/5 zombie head mark !
Sheesh talk about fussy. Could have been people firing at zombies from inside the building that knocked the glass from the inside out, who knows, a detail not worth worrying about really. Awesome build im in build envy.
