There’s a lot of zombie stuff out there, and most of it is crap. People like to jump on bandwagons and produce quick tie-ins rather than investing love and effort into their creations. Luckily for you, I’m here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Friday, when I’m going to share the coolest zombie-related creation I can find out there on the web.
I’ve actually been using this week’s creation, “Nighthawks of the Living Dead” by Profound Whatever, as my desktop background for the last few months. I love, well, pretty much everything about this creation. It recreates the original painting wonderfully, the zombie attack at fantastic, and has a sort of zombies versus gangsters vibe that really appeals to me. Check it out:
And just for reference, he’s the original painting as created in LEGO®:
This isn’t the first time I’ve blogged one of Profound Whatever’s creations, and I doubt it’ll be the last. If you’re curious why, just check out his Flickr stream. Wow.
Have you seen a great zombie-related creation out on the web? Are you working on the next great zombie MOC as we speak? Well you had better let us know right away, otherwise we’ll never be able to include it here.
oh wow! That’s really awesome 🙂
Isn’t it? I amazed me every time. The lighting is just spot on.
Oddly enough the feeling of the picture makes me feel like its very.. Cozy, very home like. I don’t know why I guess it hits home with me some how.
I can see that. The original definitely has that sense of homey normalcy.
