by There’s a lot of zombie stuff out there, and most of it is crap. People like to jump on bandwagons and produce quick tie-ins rather than investing love and effort into their creations. Luckily for you, I’m here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Thursday, when I’m going to share the coolest zombie-related creation I can find out there on the web.
The Zombie Creation:
This week’s LEGO Zombie creation, “The Walking Dead ‘DD’ Chopper‘ by Project Azazal, is another super cool creation inspired by AMC’s hit zombie series, The Walking Dead. this time, it’s the custom chopped ridden by everyone’s favorite zombie killing, white trash superhero, Daryl Dixon. It even includes the “SS” logo on the bike, which is something I notice every time I see Daryl riding the thing.
So What’s Going On?
We see Daryl riding along some desolate stretch of (possibly dirt) road, with a zombie fruitlessly reaching for him, only to be stopped by a decrepit old fence. What I like about this is that it looks sort of like shelf art, or perhaps as part of a set of bookends. It’s a sort of slice of post-apocalyptic life scene, which is really cool.
Let’s Talk About the Zombies
Since this is inspired by The Walking Dead, we know quite a bit about these zombies (once again, I won’t be calling them walkers, biters, geeks, or any of the other names AMC keeps pitching at us). We know they’re slow, dumb, and make excellent props in a gladiatorial arenas.

I’ve built a few, but they never seemed to turn out quite the way I wanted.
I’ve never attempted one. I’m not a bike guy myself, but it’s always cool seeing what people can do.
