About this Episode:
One of my projects over the holidays was to build a lightbox, which I completed. As you can see, I’m still getting used to it. Sorry for the slightly washed out photos. In retrospect, a tan hallway was probably not the best place to start using this thing.

Zombie Cliché Lookout:
Unless you grew up in one of those super strict homes where you weren’t allowed to watch any TV, you’ve probably seen thousands of doors kicked in by cops over the course of your lifetime. If you’re a man (and hell, probably still if you’re a woman), I’ll bet every time you see it you think, “Man, that looks like fun.” Put someone in the position where they have the opportunity to kick in a door, and few will pass it up.

  1. I think it looks great! I see so few comics where the set has been imperfectly photographed so as to hide the lines of the bricks in the walls. If you could somehow tweak it so that the walls stay washed out while the characters are in focus, then you would have it exactly right. 😀

    • Thanks BrickVoid. I have kind of mixed feelings about minimizing the “brick” look in my photography. Aesthetically, it looks good, but I also like the fact that this is a brick comic and don’t want to hide it.

Luckily I’m not a good enough photographer to pull it off anyway 🙂

  2. Aww… I think Stewart’s gonna fail O.o

    • Hah, I think you may be right.

  3. Maybe theres a zombie in there…..Or some elaborate trap……

    • Could be, Replica, could be. Only one way to find out though.

  4. Oh no. If Stewart succeeds he’ll have an even bigger ego than he already has!–though I doubt Stewart’s foot to door ratio is high enough to pull it off. However he seems to be an ”all talk but no action” kind of guy xP

    • “All talk no action” is a great way of putting it, Jynx!

  5. Regarding kicking a locked door down, I admit to being curious about how I’d do – I’m familiar with the technique cops and soldiers use to kick doors in, but have never tried to do so myself, the situation not really coming up in normal life.
That’s regarding an old fashioned door, of course. The doors modern houses have are a lot more solid and I doubt anyone could open one with just a boot.
