Zombie Cliché Lookout:
In the early stages of the outbreak, before people truly understand the nature of the threat, there are always a few characters who think the zombies need to be saved, not destroyed. These characters are typically either bleeding heart idiots, or tragically benevolent people who must learn a painful lesson if they want to survive. Since a lot of zombie stories feature themes of rugged individualism, those trying to protect the zombies until they can be cured are often portrayed as out-of-touch hippies with dangerously naive ideas.

  1. They are also portrayed as dead people soon to rise as hippy zombies. And they may be in trouble if the cop just wasted all his ammo… more trouble than standing a room with two cops soon to turn, that is.

    • Yeah, Officer Skinner is kind of screwed. The doctor and the nurse can still save themselves though.

      • You do have a habit of spoiling things, you know. 😉 You really need to get on top of that. 🙂

      • Well he was bitten. That’s never a good thing in zombie flicks.

    • Unless you suddenly have an urge to put in an antidote that happens to work for one character or something like that because you thought “Oh crap, am I gonna need him alive further into the story?” 😉

      • Hah, maybe so… maybe so.

  2. I’m amazed the zombie hasn’t tried to say anything yet, even if it only sounds like some moaning noises to them.

I wonder if these zombies just randomly wander around biting people or if there’s some method to all their undead roaming?

I sure hope the policeman packed a spare weapon and finds out he needs to kill the head in order to stop the zombie! Then again he may just be joining him soon! 😉

    • It did say “guh” in the last episode, for what that’s worth.

  3. AAAH the old shoot till there’s nothing left trait.

    • Works every time.

  4. Hears how I think it goes when it comes to “You guttah take out the head” That it also goes for the direct spine, Neck, and head… Mainly because that theory is brought about by the work of the Cerebellum. If the spinal nervous system is attacked it’s just like attacking the brain, because they are directly attracted. SO explains, a broken spine = Generally death.

    • Though that police officer there doesn’t even aim for a central cavity shot, hes all over that chest!

      • He’s kind of shooting from the hip.

      • One can barely tell with legos, though I was assuming as much. Not everyone can be an awesome marksmen such as myself I guess!

  5. Could you be a Judge on my Upcoming Competition?
I’m gonna ask Lousie and RJ (BlockTales) To be one too.
    It’s a Doctor Who Competition……..

    • I’d be happy to… do you need to know anything about Doctor Who? Because I totally don’t.

      • Don’t worry, I know enough about the Doctor, I can’t say much, but I can say it invloves the TARDIS and building……

      • Fair enough. I’d be happy to be a judge.

    • Hmmm? Did somebody say Doctor Who?

  6. Yay! Bonus picture! Always like those…

I suppose I’m a bit late to the party… better late than never, though. (made a mental note of checking here yesterday, just never got around to it… funny how that happens!)

Anyway, that policeman’s got only 1 round left in his gun, if he is indeed using the M1911… that could make things interesting!

    • And a violent bonus picture to boot!

    • How can you be sure he’s not hiding spares somewhere? From what we’ve seen of his character so far, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he were hiding a spare ammo clip or gun somewhere on his self! 😉

      • Good point; most cops I know carry a couple of extra magazines.

  7. this cop knows noting about zombies he’s supost to shoot the head.

  8. Safe to say I don’t think a hell of a lot of officer Skinner here. Sure, cops have the same right to defend themselves against a violent aggressor as I do – even if my government chooses to deny me that right – but a nutter running around biting people hardly qualifies as an immediate threat to life like a guy with a gun or knife would. I can’t accept that he’s justified in shooting that guy rather than restraining him – especially considering that I’m pretty sure cops are among the best trained at restraining people.
