LEGO Zombie Creation: Roadblock

There’s a lot of zombie stuff out there, and most of it is crap. People like to jump on bandwagons and produce quick tie-ins rather than investing love and effort into their creations. Luckily for you, I’m here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Thursday, when I’m going to share the coolest zombie-related creation I can find out there on the web.

The Zombie Creation:

This week’s LEGO Zombie creation, “Outbreak Chapter 14: Roadblock” by General JJ, is part of a continuing story of zombie survival. Each vignette features a full write-up on the story, written in standard prose. Instead of looking at the story as a whole, I thought I would focus on just this image, which really grabbed my attention.

So What’s Going On?

I’m not going to use the text in the photo’s description, but instead rely on just what I can get from the imagery itself. In this case, that’s quite a bit. We see a couple of cars, perhaps part of a convoy, rolling through an area overrun with zombies in the middle of the night. While traveling at night like this might not be the smartest thing to do, it does make for a very cool image. I especially like the way the headlights are illuminated.

Let’s Talk About the Zombies

We can’t see the zombies too terribly well, but one thing I can tell is that there are a lot of them. That’s what I like to see in my zombie creations. Again, zombies aren’t terribly threatening on their own, but once you get a few dozen together, they’re a lot harder to deal with.

Have you seen a great zombie creation out on the web? Are you working on the next great zombie MOC as we speak? Well you had better let us know right away, otherwise we’ll never be able to include it here.

Thats a cool build you have found there Dave, love the fact that the character is using a suppressed weapon… need to draw more attention to you than you need to 🙂
A nice use of the translucent pieces as blood splatter as well. Love the headlights, wonder if it has been done by photoshop or actually lit up within the vehicle itself.
