There’s a lot of zombie stuff out there, and most of it is crap. People like to jump on bandwagons and produce quick tie-ins rather than investing love and effort into their creations. Luckily for you, I’m here to help separate the wheat from the chaff. Check back every Friday, when I’m going to share the coolest zombie-related creation I can find out there on the web.

This week’s creation, or more accurately creations, come from Mackenzie B. on Flickr. They aren’t in a single set or anything, but they’re similar enough that I’m just going to go ahead an lump them together. I”m speaking, of course, of her custom zombie minifigs. The first is just your standard cannibalistic reanimated corpse:

Your classic walking corpse

But the other two have a pretty awesome twist; they’re Star Wars zombies!

Zombie stormtroopers. They probably can't shoot either.

That poor, poor wookie.

Pretty awesome, right? I understand that these are inspired by the novel Death Troopers, presumably about zombie stormtroopers. It’s an interesting concept, but sounds like it could be a terrible read. Has anyone here checked it out?

Have you seen a great zombie-related creation out on the web? Are you working on the next great zombie MOC as we speak? Well you had better let us know right away, otherwise we’ll never be able to include it here.

  1. SHIT! Zombie Clones!? There would be millions!… Sounds like fun 😀

    • It’s a heck of a concept; that’s for sure.

  2. Death Troopers? It’s honestly not a bad read for a SW nerd like me. The essential premise is that the virus has broken loose on a Imperial prison ship, and a few unsuspecting prisoners have to escape the risen undead. It’s some sort of hyperactive virus/parasite that kills the victim and takes over their bodily functions, wanting to spread outwards from it’s carrier device, an alien pod from deep space.

It does deliver the Zombie vibe in a very effective way [dark echoing halls of a dead Star Destroyer, trapped cannibalistic Imperial officers, the hero’s elder undead brother pursuing him throughout the book], and holds true with Star Wars itself, actually. And guess what- they’re fast zombies. I liked it.

    • Yeah that sounds like some decent light reading. Maybe I’ll see if they have it at my library.

    • I remember seeing an article in some magazine about that just before it hit shelves and thought it might be interesting if handled right. Then I forgot about it…
I, too, shall see if I can locate a copy and give it a read.

      • The “If handled right” is a heck of a big if though, isn’t it?

  3. this is cool and all but i kuinda think it’s unfortunate how much they destroyed those stormtroopers………………other than that this rules!

  4. Maybe that isn’t zombie Chewbaca? It could be a poor man who grew all his hair out and got muched on sadly. Maybe it isn’t “sad” because that is good entertainment!

    • There are always other wookies in the sea.

  5. I like the first one. Is it for sale, and where can I get similar ‘everyperson’ zombie figs?
